Cape Cod Fly Fishing was founded in 2001 by Michael Mullaney. Michael spent time on the Cape learning the fishery and over the past decade has been able to create a Maritime publication. In addition, over the past two seasons Cape Cod Fly Fishing has added trips to the Islands just off Cape. We have set up guides and the perfect lodging on Nantucket & Block Island. Nantucket Retreats premier Cottage rentals is a great choice. And in July & August the fishing will be great on the Maine Coast.

Anglers can also choose from a wide variety of fishing styles. These choices include; fly fishing on the kayak, wet wading, or flat's style boat. We also have trips to the sandy beaches of Chatham or Provincetown by water taxi. The water taxis cruise back and forth to the dock every 30 to 60 minutes.

Michael started his fly fishing career at the helm of a hyde drift boat on the Delaware River in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He then moved to Western Massachusetts where he honed his skill on native brook and rainbow trout in the clear mountains streams on the border and into Vermont.
When Michael first arrived on Cape Cod, he fished solo, but as time has gone by his service has expanded into a larger group of fly guides which include; Dave Ruddock, Will Raye, Eric Morea, Gary Swanson, and Steve Kean. Plus Chris Willi on Block Island. John Ford in Maine. And add to the mix Capt. Tom on Nantucket.
Michael produces a seasonal newspaper called the Cape Cod Maritime Guide which has fly fishing content in it, plus other water related activites such as; kayaking, sailing, eco-tourism, seal watching, whale watching, and more!
New for 2011, Eric Gass is heading up our Western Mass First Line trout fishing. This is a great choice for our international clients, fish the salt day 1, day 2 3 hour into the mountains for trout! Eric also works with the Harrison Brothers for western Mass trips and Montana Glacial float trips in the summer.
