Cape Cod Fly Fishing was founded in 2001 by Michael J. Mullaney. Michael is a friendly character who loves to fish on Cape Cod. When not fishing, Michael is the publisher of the Cape Cod Maritime Guide Book. When not doing that, he skates in the men's hockey league in Hyannis & Dennis.
New for 2010, is our affiliation with Cabelas Outdoor Adventure program. And Cape Cod Fky Fishing has addeded trips to the Islands just off Cape. We have set up guides and the perfect lodgin on Nantucket & Block Island. And in July & August the fishing will be great on the Maine Coast.
Michael started his fly fishing career at the helm of a hyde drift boat on the Delaware River in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He then moved to Western Massachusetts where he honed his skill on native brook and rainbow trout in the clear mountains streams on the border and into Vermont.
Today, Cape Cod Fly Fishing, has expanded into a larger group of fly guides; Michael Mullaney, Dave Ruddock, Robbie Briggs, Will Raye, Eric Morea and Steve Kean. Plus Chris Willi on Block Island. John Ford in Maine. And add to the mix Capt. Tom on Nantucket. Yes, we are growing and on the move!
Here on Cape Cod and on the Islands, these local professional fishing guides are on on hand to help folks learn about the fishery. Anglers can enjoy; kayaking, flat's style, wet wading, offshore, and surf fly fishing from May thru October each year. Our guides are; dependable, professional, and they are the best that Cape Cod has to offer.
All of our guides are endorsed by industry partners such as; Heritage Kayaks, Loop Fly Fishing, and Freedom Hawk Kayaks. Each of these salty men have been involved with various television shows; ESPN/Orvis,Versu/Cabelas, The Travel Channel/Samantha Brown, and local community access cable.
