| Albright The Future of Fly Fishing |
|
Albright Direct is all about the future of fly fishing. Our tackle is designed to make the best of cutting edge technologies and materials. At the same time, after watching the sea change of lower pricing and more angler friendly equipment Albright leads the market with affordable and relevant fishing tackle. Let’s face it, fly fishing is becoming more of what it used to be, what it used to be before World War II and the invention of the spin reel, a way to fish. More anglers fly fished before the war than do now. The revival of fishing as an upper class anglophile leisure activity had its hey day and even nearly achieved religious status after the movie “a River Runs Through it”. For the most part, that phase is over and fly fishing and its equipment are returning to its roots with true anglers including fly tackle in their cross tackle kit.
So, Albright is also about the history of fly fishing, before it became a lifestyle, before it became a religion. Our range of tackle, is designed a constructed using the most advance techniques and resources, but with an eye on the wallet. After all, you want to buy lots of tackle and the better and more affordable, the more tackle you can buy.
Albright wins awards for doing just this: Better tackle at prices that make sense on the water.

GPX FLY REELS |
|
Albright’s top-tier fly reel is ready for any fishing situation. Machined from bar stock aluminum, then type-3 anodized for the ultimate in protection from the elements, our GPX fly reels will last a lifetime. The spool’s large arbor means less line memory and fast line pickup on charging fish. The easily-adjustable, butter-smooth cork disc-drag can protect the lightest tippet and still slow a salty bruiser. The easily removable spool allows for rapid line changes as fishing conditions vary…no tools needed. From trout angling to big salt, this reel can do it all. Note: GP fly spools integrate with our GPX reels. If you’re a line lover and want to save money on spools, you might consider this option.

Albright’s breathable Trinity waders have all the performance features you’ve come to expect from waders costing much more. The Trinity’s breathable laminate material allows for superior transfer of internal moisture, yet is amazingly resilient to punctures. Reinforced laminate, from the knees down, resists scrapes and scratches from sharp sticks on brush-lined trails. Comfortable knee pads are included for kneeling on rocks or high-bank exits from streams. Our high-density neoprene stocking feet provide exceptional comfort and a long life of hard use. Built-in gravel guards keep sharp rocks and gravel out of your boots and never get lost. Our innovative suspender system allows for our Trinity waders to be worn as chest-waders or converted to waist-high waders on those really hot days. The gusseted belting system keeps your waders snug yet comfortable at your waist. Finally, don’t forget our handy, internal travel pocket for car keys and other important stuff. |

XX SERIES FLY RODS |
Legendary saltwater angler Lou Tabory was brought on board to help design a high-performance series of fly rods for Albright. This collaboration of angling minds brought to life an amazing series of great casting, great fishing, no-nonsense fly rods...the XX series. The progressive taper loads quickly at the tip with a smooth transfer to the mid-tip, turning over large flies like they were midges. The lower portion of the rod is ready for battle with any fish and pulls sinking line out of water like a floating line. IM7 graphite blank material is wrapped with a carbon scrim ensuring a lightweight yet durable fly rod. Hardened titanium-bridged strippers incorporate super-strong SIC rings for long life. Oversized hard-chrome snakes and tip-tops allow for uninhibited, long casts. Each rod comes with a proper balanced fighting butt and heavy-duty anodized aluminum reel seat with double up-locking hardware. Only the best grade of cork is used for our XX grips providing the perfect in-hand feel. Every rod comes in a premium, Cordura-covered hard case for added protection. From the #6 rod to our #14, we’ve got a rod for Alaska trout, Belize Bones, or even taming tuna. Treat yourself to an XX

XX Intermediate line By Lou Tabory
Intermediate lines should have a medium sink rate, cast smoothly, and shoot well through the guides. Front taper: This short front taper will turn over better when you're casting into the wind. It's also ideal for casting big flies. Head: Short head will load the rod quicker and throw bigger flies with less effort. Reartaper: This longer rear taper allows you to adjust casting distance for better accuracy. And you can extend the head well beyond the tip when making longer casts. Running line:This large-diameter running line tangles less and is much easier to handle. Line color:This bright line with a clear, 15-foot forward section helps you keep track ofthe fly's position.

BRIDGESTONE WADERS
|
|
Albright’s Bridgestone waders represent a no-nonsense choice in breathable waders at a very smart price. Highly breathable, very resilient and super comfortable, our Bridgestone waders are ready for some hard fishing. We even offer these waders in women’s cuts and children’s sizes, too. When worn with moisture-wicking undergarments, these waders transfer sweat from your skin out through the wader material…even while under water. The result is a wader that while light in weight, keeps you warmer than a non-breathable wader. Comfortable, adjustable shoulder straps provide proper fit and a wading belt is also included for safety. Bridgestone waders pack easily for back-country fishing and also make a great pair of backup waders, too.
