Capt. Josh Zacharias, a Truro native with decades of experience fishing the waters around Cape Cod, started Outermost Angling Charters to share his passion for fishing with others. His reputation as a human fish finder is solid in these parts — come along and see a true salt at work!
Capt. Josh specializes in light-tackle and fly-fishing for striped bass, bluefish and bluefin tuna. He's a versatile guide who knows the waters from Cape Cod Bay to Stellwagen Bank to Chatham. He likes to launch from Pamet Harbor in Truro but, depending on where the action is, he'll venture out from ports across the Cape to put you on the best fishing available. His vessel is the 'Osprey,' a 24-foot Seacraft fully equipped with electronics and able to accommodate up to 5 people. Josh is also an accomplished fly tyer with many successful patterns that match the hatch for local waters, whether it be for chasing bass and blues or going for the ultimate trophy of a bluefin tuna.
Cape Cod is home to a world-class fishery, and our inshore and offshore waters are capable of producing the catch of a lifetime. Josh loves to get people out on the water catching fish, having fun and making great memories. He'll provide all the rods and tackle you need, and he'll fillet your catch for you at the end of the trip. Anglers of all levels of experience are welcome.
